So, imagine a Panamera coupe'? A Porsche version of an Aston?

Eh...whatever. I guess they feel strongly enough to be working on it. Good for them. I really find myself wanting to have a care either way. I just don't.

And I thought the E-type was phallus shaped...

That would be a 928 - thank you.

Yes it would. I love the 928. I dislike a heavier fatter blah version of it that this panamera 2-door would be.

All FR sports coupes are. Get used to being a testicle if you like driving front engine sports cars.

that image just looks like a photo shopped 911 with panamera lights.

if a new 928 were to be developed, the big question would be if its going to be a db9/f12 competitor or an FF/conti gt/gran turismo 2+2 competitor.

the 2 seater would fit better into their current lineup, but wouldnt share the same purpose as the 928.

the 928 was kind of heavy and fat for its day. its still one of my faves though.

edit: dont even know what the current big 2 seat AM is called these days. took a guess on the db9

I just thought of a terrible idea. I can't particularly see Porsche making a front engine, long nose coupe when they've invested so much into mid and rear engined cars, but what if they made a car with the same proportions as the Mercedes AMG GT and made it rear engined, since the GT already looks like a 911 from behind. The long nose could be used as a massive frunk, making it actually practical. The F-Type and GT would have nothing to answer with to it's cargo capacity.

4 golf bags in the frunk. It would be the ultimate dentist's car.

When I see a Panamera I just think there must be something seriously wrong with the driver.
